About

“You’ll be remembered by how you made others feel.” ~Maya Angelou

Peggy M. Parks is the South’s Brand/Image Leader, working with companies and associations to ensure that employees at every level of the company represent the corporate brand and message, both internally and when they interact with the public. Although good manners is nearly an ancient concept, companies that promote this idea are considered avant garde in this day and age.

Peggy works with mid- to large-sized companies, leading customized workshops on a wide range of topics — including professional image, communications skills, personal branding and civility in the workplace. With a 25+ year career in domestic and international business, she has a realistic view of the corporate world and empathy for the professional challenges that management and employees face every day.

Peggy’s expertise has earned her the reputation as the go-to consultant for companies such as:

AIG, AT&T, RBC Centura, Carlton Fields, Cousins Properties, eTrade, Georgia Power, Intel, John Hancock Financial Services, Metro Brokers/GMAC, Mississippi Power, Southern Company, UPS, and The Buckhead Community Bank.

As evidenced by her testimonials, Peggy has received accolades for her flair in delivering current, impactful, and fun presentations.

She has also been a consultant for The American School of Protocol and Right Management.

Peggy is a sought-after speaker. As an ambassador of professional communications and appearance, she “walks her walk and talks her talk.” Audiences can easily relate and respond to her personal journey, where she went from hiding behind the scenes during her corporate career—with a flushed face and stammering voice when asked to speak—to becoming a confident trainer and presenter who has spoken before large crowds and appeared on radio and TV. Peggy’s presentations focus on educating participants in an entertaining manner – getting the point across with tact, caring and expertise.

She works with large audiences, small groups and individuals in the corporate arena.

Before launching The Parks Image Group in 2004, Peggy spent more than two decades in international business, working in human resources, financial planning, and administrative roles with ISFA/INVEST, Sea-Land Service, and Hitachi.

Growing up with a French mother and a grandmother who worked in Parisian haute couture, Peggy became multilingual and was at home on three continents. Innately learning poise and good manners at an early age, she was also well-educated in the United States and abroad.

She received her image and etiquette training at the London Image Institute, The Australian Image Company and Professional Image Management, and is among the world’s earliest Certified Image Professionals. Recent awards include Results Count from Atlanta Women in Business and Civility Star from the Association of Image Consultants International. In 2011 she achieved certification as a 360° Reach Assessment Analyst as well as a Certified Personal Branding Strategist, allowing her to now offer Personal Branding consultations to her corporate clients.

Peggy also serves on the Ethics & Character Advisory Board for the Kennesaw State University Institute for Leadership.
