What’s
in your Closet?
Imagine stepping into your closet one morning and finding
it full of all the clothes you love; what an extraordinary
feeling at the start of your busy day!
Small business owners know that 80% of their business comes
from 20% of their clients. This same statistic rules our closets:
chances are that you wear 20% of your clothes 80% of the time.
Those we do not wear are too big, too small, or they are “orphans”:
clothes we buy on a whim and hang in our closet without even
taking the tag off.
When we work together to organize your closet, we evaluate
what clothes work best for you and pair pieces for optimal
image impact, highlighting your very best features.
From now on, no more throwing your whole closet on the bed,
wondering what you’re going to wear, and whether this
blouse goes with that suit. Your suits are now all organized
by color, style and season, and, most importantly, they all
fit and are ready to wear. The “too smalls”, the “too
bigs” and the “orphans” have all been banned.
Everything in your closet fits and the colors and styles you
see before you on this wonderful morning enhance that confident
spring in your step. |
Yellow, Red or Purple?
If you have ever admired a suit on a mannequin and wondered
why it was so “blah” when you tried it on, let’s
talk about color!
Color, according to psychologists who have studied this, is
the first thing one notices when meeting a person; its impact
is immediate and lasting. Color affects your mood, apparent
body shape, apparent age, your outlook on life and the overall
impression you make on others. When you wear your best range
of colors, you will look energetic, vibrant, younger, healthier – amazing,
isn’t it? By contrast, unflattering colors can make you
look ill, exhausted, dull or older. Who needs that?
Once you are aware of your personal color “bests”,
shopping will be simpler and you will stop making costly wardrobe
mistakes. Your confidence level will soar; you will be in control
of your image and use color to express who you really are.
The process starts with our personal color analysis. |
Achieving “WOW”.
Style is not a matter of beauty, age, size, wealth or even
fashion. It’s about knowing and respecting yourself and
having the confidence to project your unique style to the world
in a consistent manner.
Using your vertical figure measurements as guide, you will
learn what to wear and what to avoid and thus have the skill
to choose the right clothes for your body style. Your personal
Style & Proportion workbook will become one of your best
friends and most trusted resources. Not only will you have
details at your fingertips of the best styles and lengths for
you, but you will also learn about design lines and accessories.
Armed with your newly acquired knowledge, shopping is no longer
a dread; you will know exactly what to buy and what to avoid.
Combined with your personalized color analysis, you will never
again worry about your appearance, because you will always
wear “WOW” outfits. |
Plans are everywhere!
You are familiar with business plans, marketing plans, financial
plans, quite possibly wedding plans, travel plans, and you
do not have a wardrobe plan?
“Capsule dressing” is the heart of your wardrobe
plan: putting together a group of clothes that mix and match
and can be bought together to save time and money. For best
results, capsules begin with one or two anchor jackets that
can be worn with matching skirts or trousers to form suits,
or can be combined with many other pieces in your closet to
create a variety of outfits. The key word in wardrobe planning
is “versatility”.
Once you have your capsule in place, it is easy to add or
replace pieces. A new addition should match at least three
or four garments already in your closet, thus reducing the
cost-per-wear of each piece. Managing your wardrobe with capsules
will simplify the start of your day, every day, and making
future shopping a breeze. |
